Running a £12.99 price tag over on the Xbox Store, Inner Ashes has been put together by those at Selecta Play and CALATHEA GAME STUDIO. It plays as a narrative adventure which focuses on a father and his daughter; how their relationship plays out.
Henry and Enid have been estranged, and it’s up to you to help the former work through an introspective journey. It’s this which centres on that relationship; for the good and the bad.
A game that has been put together with the express intention of moving you to think, the narrative and art designs of this one should be enough to deliver a sell. But then this is also a game that attempts to deal with Alzheimer’s disease and the ravages that causes.
Raising awareness by putting you in the shoes of a protagonist hit with the disease, Inner Ashes is a bit of an experiment. See, those behind it are using elements utilised by Alzheimer’s patients as they try to mitigate their symptoms. They worked alongside professionals in the field to try and achieve this.
