We’ve been waiting an absolute age for a new Top Spin game to land on the gaming scene, and very soon that’s exactly what will happen. Today, 2K confirm the release date and various edition for TopSpin 2K25 on Xbox, PlayStation and PC, as they drop a new trailer.
For many, Top Spin was the pinnacle of tennis games, and even though there have been a host of games to tempt us into the court, few have ever succeeded in a way that this franchise and series did. In fact, with TopSpin 2K25 on the horizon, we think we’ll be rewriting our best tennis games article.
A new TopSpin is on the horizon
TopSpin 2K25 comes more than a decade on from the last Top Spin game, as 2K look to scream game, set and match with release on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It’s coming on April 26th, with a Deluxe Edition and Grand Slam Edition providing three days of early access from the 23rd. You’ll also find the game on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
Hit the court and TopSpin 2K25 will be found with some proper tennis legends front and centre. Roger Federer and Serena Williams will be pride of place on the cover of the Standard Edition and the digital only Grand Slam Edition, while top current stars Carlos Alcaraz, Iga Świątek, and Francis Tiafoe grace the cover of the Deluxe Edition.
Whichever version you take, TopSpin 2K25 will boast a roster of over 24 playable pros, a TopSpin Academy training center voiced by tennis legend John McEnroe, some competitive single-player, and multiplayer modes, all four historic Grand Slam tournaments, and much more.

The song will also appear on the in-game soundtrack, amongst several other tracks to be announced soon;

TopSpin 2K25 Editions
Want to know exactly what’s in the various versions of the game? TopSpin 2K25 features four editions: Standard Edition, Standard Cross-Gen Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Grand Slam Edition:
- The Standard Edition will be available for £59.99 on previous-gen platforms (PS4, Xbox One consoles) and PC and for £64.99 on current-gen consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X|S);
- The Standard Cross-Gen Digital Edition will be available for £64.99 on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. The Standard Cross-Gen Digital Edition includes the Standard Edition across previous and current-gen platforms within the same console family and the same PlayStation or Xbox account;
- The Deluxe Edition will be available for £84.99 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. The Deluxe Edition includes the Standard Edition (with dual-gen entitlement for console), Under the Lights Pack, plus New Wave Pack featuring Alternate Outfits for Carlos Alcaraz, Iga Świątek, and Francis Tiafoe, plus a collection of additional apparel, and the Rookie Rise Pack which features a MyPlayer Boost and 1700 VC.
