Ready for some Rough Justice 84 on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch or PC?

Inspired by the world of board games, Rough Justice: ’84 is a single player experience in which you make the most of dice and cards in hope of successfully running your own security agency. It’s part detective agency management, part puzzle-solving, all neon-noir. And it’s available now on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC.

Ready for some Rough Justice: ’84?

Dropping via the Gamma Minus and Daedalic Entertainment teams, Rough Justice: ’84 will see you taking care of wannabe gangsters and high-tier syndicate bosses, all as you attempt to make it in the private detective world.

Combining various forms of management, Rough Justice: ’84 works in strategy, crime thrills and detective grit, as you do your best to solve a number of cases and challenges. With inspiration coming direct from the board game landscape, it’ll be the mix of cards and dice that ultimately dictate any success.

It places you in the shoes of one Jim Baylor. An ex-cop on a mission, you’re looking to clean up the streets of Seneca City; a sinister, dark land. It’s these which are controller by a neo-nazi organisation and it’s up to you to uncover the secrets it holds.

Rough Justice: ’84 is a game that isn’t scared to go deep though. As the name suggests, it touches on some of the most hard hitting of subjects from the 1980s; a time that focused on liberation, economic growth and the taking down of borders. With Gamma Minus experiencing many of these for themselves, you should expect it to feel pretty real.

Buy and play now!

And real it does feel – at least for us and our full review of Rough Justice: ’84 on Xbox. Give it a read whilst you wait for your download to take place. We think this is one you should be playing fairly soon.

If you are sold, the Xbox Store will sort you out with that download today. Rough Justice: ’84 is playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. You’ll also find it on the storefronts of PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Rough Justice: ’84 on Xbox Game Description

In this single-player board game-inspired strategy game, solve puzzles and use dice and cards to successfully run your private security agency. Advise your agents as they deal with security, fugitive recovery, repossession cases, and more.

Hire freelance agents to help complete cases! Every case has different requirements and with a wide variety of agents to choose from, finding the right agent for the case is essential. Expand your roster to accommodate more agents by completing caseloads and receiving rewards.

Some cases offer diverse and immersive gameplay with genre and era-specific puzzles (read: mini-games). They are a mixture of cryptograms, digital and analog mechanics: reflex-based as well as mathematical challenges.

To root out the cancer gnawing at the city, use all the power and resources available to you: from your agents and era-accurate surveillance technology to friends in high places.

But look out – behind the curtains of this struggle for justice, a much bigger story is playing out. A secret organization with grand ambitions spread its influence over Seneca City, and it has you in its crosshairs.
