jumnji the video game

We’ve already been welcomed to the Jumanji jungle, and it won’t be long before we get the chance to take things to the next level with the new film, but in the meantime, it’s all about the video game version of Jumanji, particularly now that it has launched on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC.

In the build-up to seeing Jumanji: The Next Level hit cinema screens the world over, Jumanji: The Video Game gets the hype meter moving some more as us gamers fall into the madcap world of Jumanji, leaving our real lives behind and attempting to defeat all foes and to save the day.

As you would expect to hear, Jumanji: The Video Games comes with all the Jumanji heroes in tow, with Dr. Smolder Bravestone, Ruby Roundhouse, Franklin Finbar, and Professor Shelly Oberon all in place, each providing unique skills and abilities to help you out in your quest.

Filled with laughter, hit with more than a smattering of action, and providing much challenge, Jumanji: The Video Game will task you with hunting down the most precious of jewels – the Jewels of Jumanji no less – before leaving you to save the world and find a way home. You should however expect to be met with a ton of foes, creatures and obstacles along the way.

If you can’t wait for the new film to hit then taking some time out with the Jumanji guys via the video game may well be the best bet. You’ll find the usual digital stores giving up access – £34.99 from the Xbox Store for us Xbox One players – whilst it’s also available in physical format from the likes of Amazon.

Game Description:

Unite in adventure and laughter in the action-packed game of Jumanji, the ultimate challenge for those who seek to leave their world behind. Play online, split-screen or with AI teammates, and combine the unique abilities of Dr. Bravestone, Ruby, Mouse and Prof. Oberon to defeat your foes and save the day!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
