Unto The End is the handcrafted adventure from husband and wife team Stephen Danton and Sara Kitamura, better known as 2 Ton Studios. It combines a breathless escapade with intense combat and whisks you off to a hostile, yet beautiful and atmospheric, world. For a grand total of £20.99, you could venture into Unto The End on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Stadia, and PC – while Nintendo Switch owners must wait until 17th December. The good news for Xbox Game Pass subscribers is that it’s launching straight into the library.
The story is but a simple one in Unto The End: get home to your family. You won’t take on the role of an epic hero or highly trained fighter, instead a mere warrior that’s fairly decent with a sword. The onus is on you to master the combat and showcase your skills through intense sword fights by predicting the enemies actions and reacting appropriately. Furthermore, spotting opportunities to trade and deciding when to use items must become second nature if you’re to overcome the challenge ahead. So, how will you make it home?
