The 102nd NFL Season is just around the corner which means the annual Madden NFL release is here too. Along with the increased season, Madden NFL 22 on Xbox has gone through some major changes also. And if you were one of those who paid a bit extra for the MVP and Dynasty Editions of this years virtual American Football well today is the day you can play it in full.
Having had almost as much work during the off-season as my beloved Philadelphia Eagles, so too has Madden NFL 22 gone through a mini overhaul this year. Many criticisms during Madden NFL 21 were at the lack of updates in Franchise mode, so rightly most of the attention has been focused on this mode this year. There have been updates to the staff management and progression systems, along with new scenarios added to impact your decisions throughout the longer season. Franchise Mode will also be receiving updates throughout the season as part of the live service aspect.
Exclusive to Xbox Series X|S versions of Madden NFL 22 is the new Dynamic Gameday. Experience M-Factors (Momentum Factors) that enhance the Environment and atmosphere in the same fashion the X-Factors improved NFL Superstars. There are also the return of Next-Gen Stats and improved atmosphere aspects throughout.
All your other favourite modes are present though with the return of The Yard and Face of The Franchise. These now sync up progression, so rewards unlocked in either are shared across your avatar. Also returning modes are Superstar KO and of course, Madden Ultimate Team.
For those that want early access to Madden NFL 22 on Xbox, be prepared to pay for it. The MVP Edition comes in at £89.99 and the Dynasty Edition will set you back £109.99. You do get some extras though including plenty of goodies for Ultimate Team, 100 Staff Points for Franchise mode, vanity items for your avatar and more.
