Ratalaika Games are fast making a name for themselves with the porting and releasing of numerous games at super cheap, super cheerful prices. Today is no different though, as it is Ratalaika who are back, this time providing gamers with the opportunity to drop themselves into a wonderful synthwave-fuelled world with Neon Junctions on Xbox One.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Neon Junctions is a first person based puzzle platformer which sees any interested gamer attempt to make their way through 34 levels of intrigue.

Running with a price point of just £4.99 – and even that is initially discounted at launch – Neon Junctions plays on the edge of an old-skool 1980s vibe, delivering a atmospheric synthwave feel. Set in cyberspace you’ll be left to capture and move conductive cubes, make the most of electrical circuits that are before you and ensure that power is restored to each level and the items found within.

As you may expect, the levels will ramp up in difficulty throughout the 34 available and what will initially seem like a bit of a breeze, will quick be a mind-bending, grey matter taxing affair.

If you wish to give Neon Junctions on Xbox One a shot, or have been impressed by the quality of previous Ratalaika Games and wish to drop in to this puzzler on the back of that, then head on over to the Xbox Store, pay up the small asking price and enter a world of neon!

We’ll have a full review of Neon Junctions on Xbox One hitting these pages soon, but make sure you pop into the comments section down below and let us know what you think of the latest puzzling platformer to hit Xbox One.

You’ll also find Neon Junctions available on PS4 and PS Vita, whilst a Nintendo Switch launch will occur on the 7th June.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
