Still sitting patiently for that Autumn release of Jagged Alliance: Rage!? Well, take a deep breath because a brand new launch date has been confirmed… and you’re going to have to wait until December 2018 for it to arrive.

Yep, disappointment, we know, but at least the Christmas period is going to be one to look forward to this year as Jagged Alliance: Rage! will be bringing its turn-based tactics, adventure elements and well-known quirky mercenaries to the Xbox One, PS4 and PC party come 6th December 2018.

This spin-off from the Jagged-Alliance franchise focuses on beloved mercs like Ivan Dolvich, Helmut “Grunty” Grunther, and Charlene “Raven” Higgins, with the action set 20 years after the first Jagged Alliance. if anything it promises to take you on a road trip into a jungle hell to test your mind and body to the limits.

If you fancy hitting up an entire island and going up against a drug overlord and his crazed army, then the 20 hours plus single and cooperative adventure that is found in Jagged Alliance: Rage! allows for it.

Price wise and we’re looking at a £15.99 / €19.99 / $19.99 tag for those on PC, whilst us console owners will need to fork out a little more: ÂŁ26.99 / €29.99 / $29.99.

Features include:

  • 2 Player online co-op mode
  • Deep, turn-based tactical gameplay mixed with adventure elements
  • Choose a variety of tactics ranging from stealth to brute force
  • Strong character personalities with own skills, desires and personal conflicts
  • Rage skills: Unique character abilities that get more powerful over the course of the battle
  • Powerful Commanders coordinate enemy troops on the battlefields
  • Face terrifying experimental drugs and use them to manipulate your enemies

Will you be sticking Jagged Alliance: Rage! on your Christmas wishlist?

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
