Even prior to the launch of WWE 2K Battlegrounds, 2K had big plans, mostly centred on expanding the game post-launch in order to keep things fresh. Hot on the heels of seeing the likes of Goldberg, Batista and more joining the Battlegrounds roster at the start of November comes the next roster update, and this one sees “Laheem” Lillard and “Gronkster” star.

Pushing out the next WWE 2K Battlegrounds update from today, with additions coming over the course of the next few weeks, 2K are dropping no less than 9 new WWE Superstars, 17 customization items and five new arenas to the game.

Lillard is the NBA 2K21 cover star looking to blur the lines and cross sporting boundaries in order to hit the WWE 2K Battlgrounds world in a brand new white and gold colorway of the adidas Dame 7 “Ric Flair” shoe, one that comes about thanks to a partnership with adidas and WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair. Further, we see, Gronkster hit home, with two alternate attires available, including the white top and red shorts he wore at WrestleMania 33 and the blue and black animal print gear he wore when he won the 24/7 Championship at WrestleMania 36.

But whilst these two may be seen as the headline acts, the update doesn’t stop there with further WWE Superstars, Legends and Hall of Famers dropping by, including Macho Man Randy Savage, Edge and Rhea Ripley alongside new arenas. Details and dates as follows:

Monday, November 23:

  • Haunted House Arena (unlocked);

Tuesday, November 24:

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
