out of space xbox one

Ever thought about owning a dream home… in space? Out of Space on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC, will allow you to live out those dreams, as you are tasked with working together with a friend to maintain such a lifestyle.

Coming from Behold Studios – the team who previously delivered Chroma Squad and Knights of Pen and Paper – Out of Space is a cooperative multiplayer sim experience in which maintaining a dream home in space is the be-all and end-all of life.

How you go about that is up to you, but working things out with a mate is quite possibly the best way of running this madcap life. Who will take out the trash? Who is assigned to do the dishes, or clean up that weird alien goo? Living with others is never easy, especially when you’re just trying to keep up a cozy home while not dying.

“Almost everyone has experienced the frustration of figuring out who’s responsible for all those mundane household tasks,” said Saulo Camarotti of Behold Studios. “But imagine if you lived in space how much more challenging it would be to even take the dog for a walk.”

Out of Space on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC caters for up to 4 players, across both the local and online scenes. We’ll be finding it arrive later this fall, with language support in English, Brazilian-Portuguese, Spanish, German, Italian, French, Simplified Chinese, Russian and Japanese.

Features of Out of Space include:

  • Clean and furnish a new house in space.
  • Play it solo, local or online co-op.
  • Build systems to survive the hassles of day-to-day life.
  • Avoid the alien dirt and save those who turned into cocoons.
  • Decorate rooms and make them comfy enough to call it home.

We’ll be sure to update you when a fully confirmed release date for Out of Space is known. For now though, let us know in the comments below if this is a game you’ll be keeping an eye out for.
