Coffee Talk has previously proved there’s space in the gaming scene for a cozy chat. Pixel Cafe looks to take that on a level.
Available right now on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC, Pixel Cafe is the latest from the recently prolific Baltoro Games. This time they ditch the railway management found in Train Traffic Manager to instead focus on some story telling, whisking us off to the cafe for food and drinks.
A new barista tale
In Pixel Cafe you play the role of Pixel; a barista in a small town. Pixel has a a big story to share though and she does this be working in various diners across the town. It’s here where she gets busy serving up drinks and meals to the folk of the land, creating recipes dishing them out as she goes.
Differing to the more serene ambiance of the Coffee Talk games, Pixel Cafe feels much more in line with other Baltoro titles. You know, the Food Truck Tycoon games of this world. It’s here where you’ll look to earn cash by creating the finest of meals. All before unwinding back at home, considering future options.
And it’s a game that will appeal to all players too as they test their culinary expertise in any of the game’s 50 Nightmarish levels. From beginner baristas to super-human sous chefs, Pixel Cafe serves something for everyone!
The best thing about Pixel Cafe though? The opportunity to learn more about Pixel, he life in Karstok and more. Throw in an original soundtrack and this could well be a cozy little narrative-based drinks adventure worth serving up.
