Space Moves is now available on Xbox

Up for a new interstellar journey through space? Want to make the most of a unique game mechanic as you do so? Space Moves lands on Xbox to allow just that.

Available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S is Space Moves. It’s the latest little indie title to release through the Desert Water Games publishing stable, as they pick up the creation of Grinrobot Studio.

An interstellar puzzler

Those indie vibes flow into the price. Space Moves is super cheap to purchase, at just £4.19. If you’re quick off the mark, you’ll find that cheaper still, with a launch discount taking hold.

Whenever you purchase or play, Space Moves will deliver a sci-fi puzzle adventure for you to get your teeth into. As you would expect from such a game, it’s set in the depths of space as you and your foes get into sync, opponents and enemies reacting to your movement across a grid-based world.

There’s a bit of a story to take in too, but frankly, we think the puzzling aspects will be the main focus of this one. Throughout, you’ll be tasked to explore a hostile space station, navigating perilous corridors, braving swarms of inhabitants.

Some 40 levels will keep you busy for a while, as you attempt to overcome the tests of mind and puzzles within. Can you escape the captivity of an alien race?

Buy now!

Space Moves can be purchased from the Xbox Store. It’s playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, fully optimised for Series consoles.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
