This article certainly seems apt, as I write to you now whilst aboard a train. Train journeys, at least once you are on the damn thing and delays haven’t plagued your day, are pretty chill, all things considered. Adventuring through nature, with the idle chugging of the locomotive in your ears – this is something that Railbound on Xbox aims to replicate.
A Chill Puzzler on Xbox
Releasing today on Xbox platforms, Railbound can boast over 800 Steam reviews that put it in the ‘Very Positive’ or ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ category – now that is a true achievement.
Playing as some omnipotent locomotive god, your job is to connect up a number of tracks, to ensure that each passenger makes it home in time for dinner. It’s a far cry from the uber-realistic settings that the likes of Train Life: A Railway Simulator brings to our screens, and each of the 200+ levels can be tackled at your own pace.
Soon enough you’ll be playing around with tunnels that pop your train out at another location in the level, as well as multiple carriages that must be connected up, before reaching your end goal.
Key Features:
- Title perfectly tailored for Xbox
- Amazing story and visuals that will warm your soul
- Overwhelmingly positive reception
- A full game version that include all up to date content update
- Dedicated relaxing soundtrack
- An ultimate comfort puzzle game
- Trains and cute dogs
‘An ultimate comfort puzzle game’ – by the looks of the cartoony visuals, and the chirpy music playing throughout, developers Afterburn seem to have got that one right!
