The developers behind Q.U.B.E. 2, Toxic Games, have today announced the official date we’ll be putting those manipulation gloves on again for more puzzle solving. And it’s not too far away!
Players will be taking on the role of archaeologist Amelia Cross in Q.U.B.E. 2 as she awakens with no memory as to how she’s ended up in an alien world. This first-person puzzler arms Amelia with special gloves to manipulate the environment within a monolithic structure, full of alien technologies, in order to locate a stranded scientist, Emma Sutcliffe, in the hope of finding a way home together. It may prove a tricky task given that their only means of communicating is by radio. There are over 80 puzzles to overcome across 11 chapters of a story which explores themes of isolation, trust, and brings about thought-provoking questions of Amelia’s real purpose in life. It’s going to get deep.
In just over a month, on March 13th to be exact, Q.U.B.E. 2 launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, hoping to improve on the original game and provide an even more enthralling experience for the masses.
