Boot up the Google Play Store or Apple App Store in the mid 2010s, and you’ll likely be met with the Earn to Die icon. This iconic mobile game saw you mow down hordes of zombies in a speced-out killing vehicle, which was gradually upgraded the more you played. Zombie Derby on Xbox, in many ways, is incredibly similar.
Pimp Your Ride
Confusingly not the first Zombie Derby game from Brinemedia to hit Xbox shelves – both Zombie Derby 2 and Zombie Derby: Pixel Survival released on Xbox earlier this year – the original Zombie Derby is now available on Xbox consoles. Over a decade on from its PC debut, Zombie Derby sees you ride out into a zombie-infested wasteland, and attempt to escape to safety.
Luckily for you, you have a tricked-out vehicle capable of running over enemies, as well as shooting at them with a variety of guns. After all, what good is having a fancy ride if it gets blood all over it?
Each of the five cars available to you comes with 15 upgrades to work through. And each of those is found adding a bit more durability and offensive power to your vehicle. Working your way from the humble pick-up to the hulking Harvester, each will also be able to carry more loot on-board.Â

Each is highly customisable, with 15 upgrades including spiked bumpers, improved tyres, buffed engines, and more ammo, fuel and nitros. With 8 locations to traverse, handsome 3D graphics and gory shambling bodies, Zombie Derby is a killer game.
