There’s been a demo and the hype has built. Now though it’s finally time to get hands-on with the brilliant looking Endling – Extinction is Forever.
Available to purchase, download and play right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC, Endling – Extinction is Forever is one of those games that will make you think about what is going on in the world.
Much like how LumbearJack has recently had us considering the damage humans are making to the Earth, Endling – Extinction is Forever does similar, attempting to teach the players that fall into its world a little more about the climate that helps keep us alive.
It’s a game which focuses on environmental change as a core part of its narrative, how no one – and nothing – is safe from extinction and how us humans are to blame. Raising awareness is the key push here, as it shows the impact that human activity is having on the various ecosystems that make up our lands.
Priced at £24.99, it places you in the furry coat of the last fox on Earth, seeing the world through their eyes. We’ll have the need to contend with corruption, pollution and exploitation, as our little fox and her bunch of even smaller cubs attempt to survive in the harsh lands.
It’s these cubs which will provide a huge focus of Endling – Extinction is Forever and you’ll need to help guide them through the world, using stealth where needed; fighting back should the need arise.
