Created by HugePixel/Diedemor Studio and released on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S right now by the ChiliDog Interactive team, Earth Marines looks to have a simple premise – shoot anything that moves, asking questions lat… well, never asking questions, really.
Priced at £4.19, joining the Earth Marines will see you running and gunning for your life, all as you join a special forces team intent on saving Earth. You see, the world is under threat – when is it not!? – and so it is left to you and your shooting skills to come to the rescue, wiping out the hordes before you and clearing the land of any source of the deadly virus they have brought with them.
One look at the screens will show you what a simple affair this is, but at times it’s those games which could well be a lifesaver, especially if you’re looking for a neat little timewasters away from the triple-Aers of this world. You shouldn’t expect to be blow away by what Earth Marines offers mind, however if you’re a fan of the retro scene, cheap games, or old-school shoot’em ups, it’s probably worth a look.
