A knight, a ranger, a mage – who will help you traverse the procedural dungeons of Astebros?

Taking it back to the beginning

Available right now on Xbox and PlayStation is the latest from the PixelHeart team. It follows on from a recent drop of Demons of Asteborg, to send you on yet another adventure. And this one takes it right back to the beginning.

Present on the Xbox Store for £10.74, playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Astebros whisks us back in time, to a place where humans are on the hunt for the promised land. It’s here where we join three heroes – a knight, a ranger, a mage – as they go in search of a captured battalion, saving them from all evil.

An adventure that will take you through 8 randomly generated stages, Astebros has been inspired by the classics of the Sega Genesis era. Whether you go alone or buddied up, you’ll find your objectives marked by Rorick; a spirit guide. It’s Rorick who will be vital should you wish to succeed in a world of magic, monsters and surprises.

Key features

  • Play as a Knight, Ranger or Mage, each with unique abilities and play styles.
  • Eight randomly generated levels.
  • High-quality graphics reminiscent of classic Sega Genesis games.
  • Play alone or with a friend.
