Step back in time, War Hospital is on Xbox, PlayStation and PC

Releasing onto Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, War Hospital is a unique single-player management game in which players need to make difficult decisions in order to progress.

Make life and death decisions

War Hospital combines aspects of real-time strategy games and survival games and is based on managing a field hospital on the desolate Western Front.

Players are transported into the boots of Major Henry Wells, a British combat medic. Your main objectives? Maintain the morale of your team and support the war effort by treating the countless soldiers who arrive at your hospital battered and broken.

In this ever-changing situation, you’ll be faced with making morally challenging decisions, from prioritising patient admissions to determining the course of treatment or, at times, accepting the grim reality. Make wise choices because the narrative unfolds based on them and shapes the destiny of the hospital and its patients.

War Hospital has been developed with the support of the Imperial War Museum so players can expect an authentic and immersive experience.

Game Description

The year is 1918. You are major Henry Wells, a retired British combat medic, drafted back to take charge of a field hospital in the nightmare of World War I. Understaffed and undersupplied, the hospital is the last bastion of hope for countless soldiers on the Western Front.

Your main aims are to keep up your team’s morale, and support the war effort with the soldiers you have treated.

To do so, you need to manage your hospital to take charge of the flood of injured soldiers brought in after every battle. Make sure to admit the patients in order of priority, before treating them, scheduling surgery or abandoning them to their fate…

Resources are limited despite the ever-increasing needs… Learn to adapt to each new situation, taking sometimes morally tough decisions.

Decide on improvements to make to your facilities, and use the latest technologies available to military medicine.
