He was previously the self-proclaimed Master of Shadows, but now Styx is heading off on a new adventure…one which quite possibly takes in some Shards of Darkness.
Available to purchase right now for ÂŁ39.99, Styx: Shard of Darkness is the sequel to Styx: Master of Shadows, the game which first introduced us to the lovable Goblin. Heading off on a whole new adventure will again give you the opportunity to explore the huge environments that Styx finds himself in, before deciding whether it’s best to assassinate your foes from the shadows, or sneak on past and try to avoid any conflict.
And as much as we’ll probably mean to do the latter, chances are we’ll end up with all hell breaking loose, being left to make a run for it as Styx becomes hugely outnumbered.
With plenty of goblin skills to learn, abilities to improve and magic artifacts to check out, Styx: Shards of Darkness looks set to build on everything that the first game brought us, delivering an even better experience in the process.
The Xbox Games Store should be able to sort you out, or alternatively you could head on down to your local games store and grab a proper physical copy.
Game Description:
Styx returns in a new stealth adventure! Hired for a critical mission, explore and master huge open environments as Styx, alone or in coop with a friend. Assassinate or sneak past enemies – Humans, Elves and Dwarfs – but also much more fearsome, colossal creatures, and experiment with the new array of lethal abilities and weapons in your goblin assassin’s arsenal. Spend experience points in assassination, infiltration, magic, to learn new skills and improve abilities. Explore, recover valuable artifacts and ingredients to craft deadly traps and useful items, and create clones of yourself to deceive your enemies!
I have the first one (sitting unfinished), so I’ll get this when it goes down in price.
Me too. Think it was a free GwG title? Not even loaded it up so far. Deffo one for a future DwG sale. It does look more appealing (visually) to the last one so maybe I’d play this one first if I picked it up…
Yeah, I believe it was GwG but I’d already bought it as it was on sale a couple of months before the GwG.
