After spending a couple of years on PC, the rogue-lite, pretty hardcore shooter SYNTHETIK is ready to be unleashed in its ultimate form, containing a shed load of content. That’s right, developers Flow Fire Games have officially confirmed SYNTHETIK: Ultimate for a 16th December release on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
SYNTHETIK: Ultimate is a truly unforgiving tactical shooter rogue-lite in which freedom and experimentation are key components of the gameplay. You’ll have to fight to free a world that’s currently overrun by the Machine Legion and their Gods. Doing so will enable you to experience the next level of top-down gun-play and dive into an unparalleled variety of weapons, build options, and character upgrades.
Flow Fire Games co-founder Alexander Luck said “2020 has been a great year for us with more than 200k copies of SYNTHETIK sold on PC this year alone, and we’re looking forward to an even more exciting 2021 – we will reveal more about that soon! To celebrate we’ve wrapped up a great Christmas package for the end of the year as we release the Ultimate Edition expansion for SYNTHETIK: Legion Rising for PC and it arrives on consoles as well with the release of SYNTHETIK: Ultimate!

Given that this is the ultimate version of SYNTHETIK coming to consoles, it’ll feature all of the content that’s been added to the PC version – SYNTHETIK: Legion Rising – since launch via multiple free expansions, as well as the freshly announced Ultimate Edition expansion. The free ‘Ultimate Edition’ expansion launches on PC the same day as the full console edition and contains all sorts. Expect new story cutscenes and boss intros, eight newly appearing rare enemy squads, the new Alchemy Shop containing 12 new crazy synergy items, a new final battle in the Armageddon Room, plus a whole lot more!
Don’t forget, 16th December is the date SYNTHETIK: Ultimate is blasting onto Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Folks on PlayStation will have to wait a little longer unfortunately, but it’s definitely heading your way afterwards.
