The Telltale team never seem to stop and today they have teased a few new details regarding their next set of projects. How does Batman: The Enemy Within, a final season of The Walking Dead and Season 2 of The Wolf Among Us sound to you? Yeah, thought you might be interested.
So, taking the first one first, Batman: The Enemy Within IS a thing. Building on the universe created in Batman: The Telltale Series, The Enemy Within is a new five parter that will kick off on August 8th 2017. You’ll be able to get hold of it on all the usual channels – that being Xbox One, PS4, PC, Mac, with iOS and Android versions coming later – with Episode One, The Enigma, starting the show. If you would prefer to not get involved digitally, then a full series will be available via the now customary Season Pass Disc for Xbox One and PS4 players. That however won’t be until October.
The Enemy Within will be accessible to both returning fans and newcomers as those choices made in The Telltale Series will carry on over. It’ll also include Telltale’s unique multiplayer Crowd Play system, allowing friends and family to help decide the story direction.
In this latest chapter, both Bruce Wayne and Batman will be forced into precarious new roles. The Riddler has returned to terrorize Gotham City, but his gruesome puzzles merely foreshadow an even greater crisis. With the arrival of a ruthless federal agent and the return of a still nascent Joker, Batman must navigate uneasy alliances while Bruce Wayne undertakes a perilous series of deceptions. Which of Batman’s new allies will you choose to trust? And how deep into the darkness will you let Bruce descend?
As you would expect, Troy Baker will return to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne, as well as Anthony Ingruber, will bring his fresh take on ‘John Doe – The Joker.
We will of course remind you when Batman: The Enemy Within arrives.
But that’s not the only news to come out of Telltale, and if you give the video below a little watch, will be able to see and hear more about the final season of The Walking Dead, and, even more excitedly, Season 2 of The Wolf Among Us.
Don’t miss it!
