Having launched to the world a good few months ago, it’s now time for the latest DLC pack to land in SWORD ART ONLINE Last Recollection. And in Ritual of Bonds Vol.2, we find the last planned content drop.Â
SWORD ART ONLINE Last Recollection released on Xbox towards the back end of 2023, but it’s a game we struggled with. We hoped for a memorable climax to the series, but instead we found too much blandness, monotonous gameplay and little to keep us hooked. It’s why we gave it a 2.5/5 in review.Â
New DLC
But if you did get on with SWORD ART ONLINE Last Recollection, then you will no doubt enjoy the last DLC pack. Ritual of Bonds Vol.2 follows on from Vol.1 to add a smattering of new content to the game.
Priced at £11.99 from the Xbox Store (you’ll also find this on PlayStation and PC), in Ritual of Bonds Vol.2 you’ll discover how Kirito and friends are sent to investigate a dungeon that suddenly appeared under the Obsidia Castle town. There, they will face a trial, one that can only be challenged in pairs. Kirito and a trusted partner will have to prove their bond.
This DLC is the second volume of the Ritual of Bonds for SWORD ART ONLINE Last Recollection. And it arrives on the scene to add several fan-favourite characters: Alice, Eugeo, Leafa, Yuuki, Rain, Seven, Kureha, Zeliska and Medina. Players can choose one of them and discover their scenarios, letting them explore the bonds between Kirito and his companions.
