As the Street Fighter 6 Evolution Championship Series 2023 came to its conclusion, Capcom had a very special surprise in store for those attending. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are crashing into Street Fighter 6, via a number of epic cosmetics. Oh, and there was a sneaky teaser for a new hero coming to the game also…
Totally Tubular!
For Street Fighter 6 players on Xbox, PlayStation and PC, the TMNT collaboration (kicking off from Aug 8th) will see many elements of the fighting game decked out in turtle green. From the Battle Hub in-game social centre, draped in TMNT banners and the like, to the limitless ways you can show off your turtle-manic self, it’s safe to say that the turtles have well and truly invaded.Â
Your SF6 avatars will be able to be styled with all-new TMNT gear and emotes. And then your Battle Hub and World Tour custom avatar also being turtles-out. Your in-game mobile wallpaper, camera frames, Title and chat stamps are also getting the TMNT treatment.Â
Introducing A.K.I.
The elemental Rashid was the last character to enter the Street Fighter 6 roster. That was only a few weeks ago, and already we are getting a teaser for A.K.I. – character number 20. A.K.I. will be released in the autumn of 2023, and details are incredibly thin on the ground.
Check out the teaser trailer below, and see if you can fill in the blanks!
The Green Light with Street Fighter 6 and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
SF6 will be touting all things turtle starting from August 8th, so there’s no better time to jump into the game.
You can pick up a copy for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC – check out the Xbox Store listings, which start from £54.98.
Will you be getting involved in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles love-in?
