Whether your platform is Xbox One, PlayStation 4 or PC, one thing is for sure, the time has come to jump into 2019’s most highly anticipated horror title. Resident Evil 2 has finally arrived.
Following on from the release of the free 1-Shot Demo and available right now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, in Resident Evil 2, players head back to the city in which it all started, Raccoon City, with none other than series icons Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield.
It’s Leon’s first day in the job as an officer for the Raccoon City Police Department. Little does he know however, the street is no longer teaming with crime, but rather the undead as zombies walk the streets of this once quiet town. The reason behind it all? The T-Virus.
In this remake players can experience the delights of one of horrors greatest adventures once more, just this time in an all-new light thanks to Capcom’s use of the RE Engine. Whilst seasoned fans will have plenty to shout about, there are also plenty of new puzzles, storylines and areas to get stuck into, ensuring there are plenty of scares to uncover.
If you want to get involved in the zombie outbreak once more, you can do so now on for the price of £44.99.
Alternatively, if you want to splash the cash that little bit further, there is also the option to jump in with the Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition which brings the base game along with a number of additional costumes for our protagonists as well. There are also three all new weapons and the soundtrack from the original game included – all of which can be enjoyed for the price of £52.99.
Further to that, all of the following individual content packs can also be purchased…
- Claire Costume “Noir” – £2.79
- Original Ver. Soundtrack Swap – £2.79
- Resident Evil 2 Extra DLC Pack – £11.99

Turn the clock back a little, and challenge the fate that awaits a U.S.S. agent, the daughter of the mayor, and a gun shop owner.
