For many years Artifex Mundi have been found delivering rather unique gaming experiences, giving us the chance to visit a number of locales in order to take in some of the most intriguing of Hidden Object gameplay. They aren’t done yet though and the latest journey takes us North to the Scottish moors in Endless Fables: Dark Moor (Xbox One Edition).

Previously available on PC and mobile as the mid-term option in the Endless Fables series, Dark Moor arrives on Xbox One to allow us the chance to become acquainted with one Pamela Cavendish – and world renowned anthropologist who is journeying to meet her niece up in Scotland. As with many delightfully set-up gaming experiences, it isn’t long before the tale of Endless Fables goes bad, with the young girl kidnapped by a banshee and whisked off to a terrifying land.

It is here where you come in and by working your way through multiple scenes of mind-bending puzzles, hunting down Hidden Objects and attempting to make sense of the scene in place, the tale of the Dark Moor will slowly unveil. And with Artifex Mundi’s previous history covering all manner of brilliantly immersive gaming experiences – we’ll call out Ghost Files: Memory of a Crime and Scarlett Mysteries: Cursed Child as just two you should have played – chances are what is found hidden on these moors will be well worth taking in.

That is only enhanced by the feature list too and Artifex are promising that Endless Fables: Dark Moor (Xbox One Edition) will deliver no less than 35 of the most horrific of horror scenes, over 40 riddles to solve, 30 challenging achievements to grab, 10 mysterious characters to check out, and five of the most hardcore monsters from Scottish legend.

Should you need a new game to kick back and spend time with then Endless Fables: Dark Moor (Xbox One Edition) can be yours by paying a visit to the Xbox Store. You’ll find it available for download for £12.49, although an initial launch discount brings that down to just £9.99, whilst a free trial is also available.

Further to that, if you haven’t picked up the likes of Dreamwalker: Never Fall Asleep or that previously mentioned Scarlett Mysteries: Cursed Child then you’ll find the latest Artifex Mundi triple pack of games bringing together this new title and both of those for £29.99. Just hunt out the Sinister Adventures Bundle.

Make sure you keep an eye out for our full review of Endless Fables: Dark Moor (Xbox One Edition) too.
