Are you ready to beat back bloodsucking bats, to zap zombies and to mash-up some mutants? Restless Night is available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S!

Arriving from the ChiliDog Interactive team – previously behind Farm Frenzy: Refreshed and Crossbow Crusade amongst others – Restless Night will task you with making it through the darkness, attempting to survive until the morning.

Whilst that would seem a perfectly simple objective for many – I mean, bed, sleep, wake always works for us – in Restless Night things are a little different. You see, as darkness strikes all manner of undead foes come out to play, from the most monstrous of mutants, to reanimated maniacs and bloodsucking bats.

With your trusty rifle in hand, you’ll need to do your utmost to make it through to sunrise, killing everything and anything that dares come your way.

Restless Night promises to be a bit of an old-school retro affair and the visuals and vibe certainly play on that theme. But that’s not a bad thing and for the price being asked – £4.19 from the Xbox Store – it’s one of those games that is most probably worth a bit of consideration.

We’ll get a full review of Restless Night on Xbox out there in the days ahead, letting you know whether or not this really IS the night. Keep an eye out for it.

Game Description:

Hordes of zombies and bloodsucking bats, dozens of deadly mutants and cannibals, reanimated maniacs and pumpkin-killers — can you handle these mobs? You will have to survive through the night each and every time you’ll play Restless Night. This game is full of horrifying encounters with undead enemies, but your rifle will come in handy! Can you make it to the dawn? There’s only one way to find out — grab your favorite firearm and get ready to crush, kill and destroy all these zombies with classic old-school style. Made with love and taste, even your grandfather remembers this feeling and how fun it actually is!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
