Truck Driver starts Heading North

truck driver heading north

We’ve been looking for the opportunity to expand our Truck Driver skills for many a month, and thought that we’d be doing that back in 2021 when SOEDESCO announced the Heading North DLC. That was pulled at the very last minute though, pushed back due to unexpected technical issues. Many months on though, that road trip is taking place as the DLC finally arrives.

Available to purchase, download and add into your Truck Driver base game on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Truck Driver Heading North expands the original base game as you are challenged with driving North, continuing your trucking career by heading to the captivating country of Mangefjell.

It’s the cold of Mangefjell that is the draw here, as you drive around the beautiful Nordic inspired scapes, completing jobs and tasks for those you bump into.

Truck Driver may have struggled to really appeal to players since it first launched in 2019, with issues aplenty holding it back. With Heading North though, it may just about be able to find a place in the gaming scene, with features that include:

  • Discover a whole new map depicting the Nordicinspired country Mangefjell
  • Get to know Ólaff,Lars and Katerina as you complete over30 new jobs
  • Drive throughbeautiful verdant landscapes and interesting newplaces
  • Search for a new hidden place thatis not shown on the map
  • Unlock eight new trophies andachievements

If you have a base game copy of Truck Driver to hand and fancy Heading North, then take a trip to the Xbox Store first, pay up the £12.99 and get trucking. Expect to find it on other formats too.

DLC Description:

Expand your Truck Driver experience with the ‘Heading North’ DLC! When your uncle Karl challenges you to continue your trucking career overseas in the cold, but captivating green country Mangefjell, you decide to take on the adventure. Drive around beautiful Nordic inspired landscapes as you continue your trucking career and complete numerous jobs for new characters.
