Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch, Ravva and the Cyclops Curse is the latest Eastasiasoft title (they behind the likes of Trigger Witch) to roll out onto console, bringing with it some glorious 8-bit retro stylings and a ton of clever ideas.
It’s priced at £4.19 and will see you joining the world of a young summoner apprentice Ravva as she goes up against the Cyclops Lord. Thankfully she’s able to call upon some friends to help with this quest as not only will the Cyclops Lord need to be put in their place, but Ravva’s mother will need to be saved too, if only as her return should see peace be restored in the lands.Â
Ravva and the Cyclops Curse looks to try a few new things though. It promises clever level designs, some glorious pixel arted designs and controls which are precise enough for a modern gamer, yet still able to pay homage to the classics. There are 10 stages to take in too, along with power-ups to gather and secrets to behold.
