The Anacrusis Infinity Pass Xbox

It should come as no surprise to anyone that The Anacrusis is adopting seasonal Challenge Tracks to keep players playing. What is a surprise though is that they are allowing early players to unlock the Premium content for every single Challenge Track when it is available.

It is certainly a novel idea but how exactly does this work? Well, for a limited time, players can download The Anacrusis Challenge Track #0 – The Infinity Pass to give it its full name. From now until The Anacrusis takes its final voyage, owners of the Infinity Pass can unlock Premium content without having to pay for it each time.

Expect to be unlocking dance moves, costumes, weapon skins, banners, titles and more. The Infinity Pass player banner will be exclusive to this DLC, and you can proudly show off your commitment to The Anacrusis in lobbies.

For those unaware, The Anacrusis is playable through Xbox Game Pass but is currently in Xbox Game Preview. So far, this Left 4 Dead style co-operative shooter has three story chapters and weekly challenges to have a go at. There isn’t too much here at launch, but a lot of exciting future content is in the works. Our recent preview stated that it had a lot of potential.

The Infinity Pass comes in a couple of different flavours. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can pick up the pass on its own for ÂŁ6.69 on the Xbox Store. A new bundle has also appeared combining both the base game and the pass together. This Deluxe Edition is priced at ÂŁ24.99, the regular price for base game but with the added Infinity Pass included.

Perhaps this is a way to elevate The Anacrusis above other such co-operative shooters like Aliens: Fireteam Elite, Back 4 Blood or Rainbow Six Extraction. All which launched at a similar time with similar concepts. It is a brave plan granting early access players access to post-release stuff for one low price, but could really work as it ties people in. We shall be keeping an eye on this one and seeing how it goes.

Would this interest you to jump into The Anacrusis? Or would you prefer another online game to do this? Let us know in the comments below.
