2026's Best Games

warframe Deimos Swarm Supporter Pack

The world of Warframe is an ever-changing one, with multiple free updates ensuring that Digital Extremes’ free-to-player is consistently kept fresh. Today we find the Heart of Deimos becoming available for players to enjoy – and it brings a host of new opportunities and some glorious premium DLC.

Available for free on Xbox One, PS4 and PC – with a Nintendo Switch update occurring as soon as certification has been approved – Warframe’s Heart of Deimos is the games’ third open world expansion, with this one offering a host of options for mid-to-end tier players.

Heart of Deimos is a trifecta of incredibly rich Warframe content. The expansion offers the Cinematic New Player Introduction directed by Dan Trachtenberg, the incredibly deep customizable Helminth System for mid- to end-level players, and a densely packed, story-driven open world in which all players can team up, fight, level up, and explore an alien-infested moon.

By answering the intriguing Entrati faction’s distress call, Tenno can delve into the new Deimos story Quest to discover the trouble beneath the surface of Deimos and unlock 2020’s second Warframe, the imaginative, community-designed, gender-neutral Xaku. Players can pilot upgradeable, customizable, powerful mechs (“necramechs”) to blast through hordes of new Infested enemies and they can blaze across the landscape on Infested K-Drives (“Velocipods”) that now combine hoverboard mobility with shooting firepower for a whole new combat dynamic. And, with today’s update, both Necramechs and shooting on K-Drives immediately will be available in all three open worlds.

Whilst the main content available in the new Heart of Deimos update is free to grab, there are also a few new premium DLC routes that Warframe players may wish to consider.

The Warframe Initiate Pack will set you back £12.49, but for that outlay you’ll discover no less than 420 Platinum coming your way, the Nidus Warframe, a Boltor Rifle, the Essential Base Damage Mod Bundle, the Split Chamber mod to increase your rifles by 15% and 2000 Endo.

Further to that are a couple of more specific Deimos options. The Deimos Swarm Supporter Pack is a hefty £49.99 but is jam packed with stuff. 1200 Platinum will be yours, as will the Thelyphon Whip Skin, the Zobov Shotgun Skin, the Capstan Pistol Skin, the Khrusos Syandana, the addition of the Paradiso Armor Plates, a Capstan in Action Glph, the Domestik Carrion Dron and the Festering Ephemera.

And also available is the much cheaper £4.19 Deimos Neophyte Supporter Pack, giving access to just the Thelyphon Whip Skin, Capstan in Action Glph, the Domestik Carrion Dron and the Festering Ephemera.

You’ll find all of those premium offerings available from the digital store of your choice. Give them a bit of consideration if you’re a massive Warframe fan. And let us know if you do buy any – the comments are down below.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
