Mega-publishers Ratalaika Games are back with their next title, and ChronoBreach Ultra on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch looks perfect for platformer fans in need of a fast-paced, frantic, time-bending adventure.
Time is Stopping
ChronoBreach Ultra, releasing today on Xbox consoles, as well as PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, sees a cute little robot attempt to navigate the dangerous factory that he finds himself in.
However, whilst the robot and his drone companion may not seem all that violent, when the former gets his hands on laser weaponry, and the latter similarly fires bullets around, it soon becomes apparent that they’re not!
One of the most interesting systems within ChronoBreach Ultra is that whenever the constant firing and platforming gets too much, you can hugely slow down time. This allows your bullets to amalgamate into a huge attack. Resume time, and you’ll see those bullets all dash towards your enemy, dealing massive damage. It’s a huge benefit when fighting the various bosses in the game, as will your dash mechanic.
