Rarely a week goes by when we don’t find a nifty little indie title arrive on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch from the Ratalaika Games team. In fact, we’re pretty sure they could fill our digital libraries alone. This week is no different as they drop the rather cute, choose-your-own-love story onto console.
Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch, LoveChoice gives YOU – the player – the chance to determine how the relationships and story within unfold. There’s nothing new in that regards, we’re well used to choice in our games, but this one promises to bring forth endearing and bittersweet tales which are – in their words – ‘surprisingly realistic and easy to relate to’.
Priced at the usual Ratalaika level of £4.99, if past history is anything to go by, expect to be found lapping up the achievements and Gamerscore should you decide to take the time working through this one.
You should too, and whilst our full review is still in the works and will be able to detail the finer points, multiple stories and endings, a variety of gameplay mechanics and some super cute art with soothing music make this a tempter. And that’s without even mentioning that it should come across ass a mix of visual novel and point-and-click.
Sealing the deal is the fact that LoveChoice has previously taken awards for best narrative – and so that obviously means something.
