Break down the barriers of Tales of Arise

There’s absolutely no debating that Bandai Namco have created something that looks stunning in Tales of Arise. Visually rich and promising much in terms of story, it’s that tale which has now made waves onto Xbox, PlayStation and PC. Are you ready to break down the barriers and cut free the truth?

Tales of Arise is available to purchase, download and play right this minute on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and PC, and if you’re even slightly tempted by what it promises, you should be jumping in right now. There’s a reason we included it in our Up Next article, detailing the most exciting games to come to Xbox in September 2021.

A JRPG that oozes quality in the visual stakes, this allows us to follow the tale of how Rena has ruled over Dahna for centuries. Having overpowered the people, and totally ripped all resources from the planet, it’s here where we find ourselves meeting two different folk, born on different planets, each looking to alter their fate and shape their future.

What plays out will be entirely of your doing, but Tales of Arise happily treats you to a range of diverse characters, a story that will push things along AND a combat system which will take no prisoners. Get at one with that though, and you will be rewarded plenty.

We’re massively excited for how Tales of Arise plays out, and whilst our full review is still in the works, you can be sure that we’ll be dropping our full thoughts ass to how this plays on Xbox Series X|S before you know it.

In the meantime, if you wish to involve yourself in this Bandai mega-creation, you’ve got a few choices to make. It comes in Standard Edition form for £49.99 and that should sort you out in terms of what is needed, with the Cross-Gen bundle covering Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S generations. But there is also a Deluxe Edition for £64.99 bringing with it the full game alongside a Premium Travel Pack, Adventurer’s Pack, a Premium Item Pack and a Premium Cosmetic Pack.

Further is the Ultimate Edition – the one that you’ll find yourself in need of should you just know you’re going to be spending hours on end with Tales of Arise. This takes the Deluxe Edition and builds it out with extra cosmetics in the form of the Collaboration Costume Pack and 18 additional costumes. Yeah, £74.99 is pricey, but you get a ton of content included.

But that’s not all and Tales of Arise is also full of further additions, with all of the following present, correct and fully obtainable from the Xbox Store *Deep Breath*
