Travel From Earth to Heaven on Xbox

For a minute we thought that EpiXR Games had thrown out yet another of their Aery games. But From Earth to Heaven takes a different tack, one that ditches the flying and lets us jump around forevermore.

Available to purchase and download on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, EpiXR have obviously used old Aery as a bit of a base-layer here, but this time we find ourselves playing through the life of a protagonist who has fallen from heaven. Your task? To get back!

Priced at £5.79, the most simple of premises are available in From Earth to Heaven, as you work your way in a first person platforming style through a delightfully created land that is full of surprises. Highly stylized environments await players here, as they take in the beauty around them, solving the odd environmental puzzle in order to keep the brain moving.

For the most part though, at least judging by the trailer, From Earth to Heaven will be about jumping from pillar to post, platformer to ledge in the hope that you can make it back to heaven.

How that plays out is anyone’s guess, but we’ll be sure to cover it all in our full review of the game on Xbox Series X|S.

If you can’t wait for thosse thoughts, just get over to the Xbox Store and grab your download of From Earth to Heaven right now.

Game Description:

In this game, you follow the protagonist who initially fell from heaven back into the sky. The game is a unique combination of a first-person platformer and a light-hearted exploration game with an almost philosophical story-telling. It is highly stylized and surprises with breathtaking environments, a surreal world full of beauty and grace, and a couple of small environmental puzzles that blend perfectly into the peaceful yet stunning environments. Will you be able to make it back into heaven? Find it out.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
