The latest collection of potential bargains has arrived in the Xbox Live Deals With Gold and Spotlight sales that’ll be available from 16th to 22nd February 2016. It would be easy for us to sit back and watch you spend your cash on anything and everything, but we’d at least like to offer a little bit of advice on what we believe the real money saving deals are this week.
On first glance, it’s tough to spot many terrible deals amongst the pack, so let’s figure out the best of the best.
Grab – Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty – 60% off – £6.00 – Xbox One
It’s not often that we brandish a game with our full five star approval, but Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty ticked all the boxes in our review. The brilliant tale of a sole Mudokon attempting to escape danger and liberate as many of his pals on the way, had us urging you to buy it immediately upon release. Hence, it’s a no brainer with such a great discount that if you’re ever going to make the plunge, at £6.00 the time is now.
You won’t regret it. And should you love it so much that you need more, the Alf’s Escape DLC is also on sale for a meagre £1.12!
Grab – Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition – 75% off – £6.00 – Xbox One
We are fully aware that Tomb Raider was available for free on the Games With Gold scheme last year however, for anyone who happened to miss out on grabbing it or has recently made the jump to the new gen of consoles… this is a bargain. The visuals have been re-mastered for the step up and this Lara Croft adventure brings great gameplay to the table, making it a must buy.
Leave – Tales of Vesperia – 50% off – £14.99 – Xbox 360
There would have to be something special about a game to warrant a £15 purchase on an old console and sadly, that price tag for a seven year old release makes Tales of Vesperia one that is better left alone. Granted, it won’t be the easiest to find in your local stores but I’m sure there are cheaper options for it on disc.
As is always the case, you can find the full Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale right here. If you do fancy getting involved with one or two of them, then head over to CDKeys and pick yourself up some super cheap Xbox Live credit.

Oddworld is very tempting but I’m saving all my pennies for Unraveled!
Oddworld is a must buy Jared. Have loved that game for many a year and the Xbox One version is just as good.
Well I just got it (and the DLC). So much for not giving into peer pressure!
Lol, that wasn’t too difficult was it! Hope you enjoy 🙂
All of your reviews are pretty much spot on so when you give a game a “must buy” endorsement it’s hard to ignore.
