Up for some good old run ‘n’ gun action? The Crushborgs have got you sorted.
Available to purchase and download today on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Crushborgs is the latest cheap indie drop to hit the Xbox Store thanks to the Xitilon team – they behind the likes of Happi Basudei and Synchro Hedgehogs.
This is yet again one of those super cheap offerings, with a pocket money asking price in tow. For that reason alone you shouldn’t expect to be totally wowed by what is delivered; just content with knowledge that a fun gaming session or two will be yours, along with a host of easy Xbox Gamerscore.
Details of Crushborgs are pretty thin on the ground if we’re honest, but we do know that this is one of those old school run and gunners that used to flood the market, keeping our younger selves off the streets and in front of a TV.
Many memories are expected, mostly as this is highly reminiscent of the NES games we used to play back in the day, complemented nicely by platforming elements and an authentic 8-bit soundtrack.
We’ll be sure to run a review to see if the usual Xitilon experience is up to scratch so keep an eye out for our full thoughts concerning Crushborgs on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S soon.
For now, grab it yourself from the Xbox Store. Once you’ve got involved in the running and participated in a bit of the gunning, get back here and let us know all about it by dropping into the comments – is a place in the Crushborgs for you? We’re kicking around on the usual social channels too. We’d absolutely love to hear from you.
Game Description:
“Run and Gun” oldschool single-player platformer with NES aesthetics, including an authentic 8-bit chiptune.
