There’s nothing worse than a constant disturbance from a busy new highway at all hours of the day. That’s what plagues the previously idyllic area in which CrossKrush is set and so an elderly couple are taking matters into their own hands on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. How? By blowing stuff up, obviously.
Developed by Thinice, who are best known for their fun platformer Twin Robots: Ultimate Edition, CrossKrush is a puzzler where road rage is literally encouraged. It stars Henry and Florence, a happily married couple that have lived life to the fullest, often indulging in a bit of dancing while listening to their favourite music. Unfortunately, a road has recently been constructed right near their home and the endless traffic is causing a racket. This elderly couple isn’t putting up with it anymore and the only real solution is to clear the roads – in the most extreme way possible.
Get ready to take on wave after wave of oncoming traffic, controlling Henry or Florence through ten levels, each containing ten puzzles. The idea is to blow up as many cars as possible – slightly like Tetris, apparently – and finish off the rest using a whack from your trusty cane. If it’s too much to handle on your own, the option is present to team up with a friend locally as well.
