A Mysterious Castle
Well, not much, if the mass of Overwhelmingly Positive reviews over on Steam are anything to go by. Releasing now on Xbox and PlayStation, A Castle Full of Cats will have any feline fan grinning from ear to ear as they navigate this dark, magical castle, looking for any and all cats blending in with the background. A quick click on a cat will see it coloured in; find enough of the furry creatures, and you’ll unlock the next diorama to explore.
The story has it that an evil force has corrupted Fofiño, and caused every cat in the castle to transform into a dark creature. It is up to Lily to reverse this horrible spell on the castle. Oh, and Lily will also need to rescue every cat who calls this wondrous mansion their home.
It comes with a slight Metroidvania spin on things, in which alternate paths can be opened. From there is the need to find keys to progress within the castle. Yep, that’s right, A Castle Full of Cats is certainly not as simple as many first believe.
