SHARK! SHARK! is on Xbox

We’re not sure SHARK! SHARK! on Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC has enough about it to go up against the most apex of predators in Maneater. But there’s a good enough chance this one will still be able to take a decent bite out of your life, building up a feeding frenzy as it goes…

Available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S is SHARK! SHARK! from BBG Entertainment. It’s also making a bit of a splash on Nintendo Switch, PC and Mac too, reimagining the classic from years gone by.

A little fish, swimming to safety

Priced at £12.49 and dropping you into an underwater world, you take on the role of a little fish. As you may expect to hear from a title with the name SHARK! SHARK!, it’s up to you to keep safe, dodging out of trouble.

Thankfully, size matters in SHARK! SHARK! and whilst there will be bigger predators looking for a snack, you are smarter than they. And sneakier too.

Playing out as a ocean-themed adventure, you’ll get to enjoy swimming through some stunning environments, exploring the seas around you. With multiple challenges in play and plenty of secrets to hunt, SHARK! SHARK! promises much. It certainly looks to up the ante on the original game from back in 1982.

The sharks come out to play

There are solo opportunities aplenty in SHARK! SHARK!. But both local and multiplayer modes also await. The fact that SHARK! SHARK! caters for cross-platform play too, and the secrets of the deep get ever more enticing.

If you’re looking to take a bite, consider the key features of SHARK! SHARK! on Xbox, Switch and PC as follows…

  • Stunning underwater environments with dynamic ecosystems.
  • Intuitive controls and engaging game mechanics.
  • Dive into various challenging modes and levels.
  • Explore, hunt, and discover secrets of the deep.
  • Swim solo in Single Player mode.
  • Local and online multiplayer modes for up to 4 players (cross-platform).

SHARK! SHARK! on Xbox Game Description

Inspired by the legendary SHARK! SHARK!® game released in its original version for the Intellivision® home console in 1982, this reimagined version for up to four players offers you a modern and addictive gameplay, fantastic graphics, great sounds, lots of levels and many underwater characters.

You are a very ambitious little fish … surrounded by the gulping underwater crowd! These are nasty, sneaky, big-mouthed aquatic devils that would swallow you up in no time … plus the real-slick, fast-turning sharks and other enemies as well that just love keeping you in their stomachs. But you´re smarter … and sly-mouthed too! … and why let them DEVOUR you?

In SHARK! SHARK!® you control a fish! Your goal is to earn as many points as possible while staying alive. Swimming in the ocean with you are other fish of various sizes, lobsters, crabs, jellyfish, kraken, puffer fish, orca, electric eel, and a very fast shark. You are able to eat any fish that is smaller in size than you are, and any fish that is larger will eat you! The shark can also be defeated if you nibble at its tail several times, but be careful for the shark can turn quickly. And be also aware of the lobster, crab, kraken, puffer fish, orca, and the electric eel. Each time you eat a fish or nibble on the shark´s tail, points are earned. When some shells on the bottom open, you have to be quick and collect the pearls inside. Each time you score, your fish will grow larger in size allowing you to eat even more of the fish on the screen.
