Amazing Maze is a new Xbox ball roller

Give us a ball or marble – anything to roll, in fact – and we are in gaming heaven. Amazing Maze may release on Xbox with a super cheap price attached, but for us, it’s the gaming goodness we need.

A new ball roller on Xbox

Available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S (or PC if you must) is Amazing Maze. The creation of Lucky Raccoon Games, this is the latest ball rolling puzzler to hit the Xbox Store. A cheaper, less detailed version of Marble It Up! Ultra? Perhaps. All we care is that we can get our roll on once more.

We can do that for £3.79 too – frankly, silly cheap price that shouldn’t be ignored. Crank open that wallet and you’ll find the opportunity to take in a marble madness maze of light and frustration as you attempt to roll a little ball to victory. It’s all very classic in its make up, but with 3D visuals and mazes playing host to all manner of traps and obstacles, it’s one that could well fly. Or it could be an utter annoyance. We’ll let you know in full review.

Throw in some special ball skills – speed boosts, jumps, the like – and some parkouring joys and there’s no doubt that Amazing Maze will find a place in the heart of many a gamer. And if it does, those gamers will be treated to all of the following key features…

Key features

  • Special Skills – Transform your sphere to gain special abilities like a speed boost, jump or climb walls. Each level will require one or several skills and you’ll need to know which one to use and when
  • Exclusive parkour mechanics – You are not reading this wrong! Perform wall run and wall jump feats with your sphere and overcome obstacles in style 🙂
  • Physics – There can be several ways to complete the same level, one of them is through physical interactions: push, break, accelerate, fly, etc

Buy now from the Xbox Store

If taking in a reimagined classic is your bag, you’ll find Amazing Maze situated on the Xbox Store. It’s playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, fully optimised for the latter consoles. What’s more, with PC play and Xbox Play Anywhere support, you can get rolling wherever you may sit. There’s some console keyboard and mouse support too – it might just be time to whack out the Razer Turret

Stay tuned for our review of Amazing Maze on Xbox. Until then, let us know your thoughts. Comments are below.

Amazing Maze on Xbox Game Description

Amazing Maze brings new elements and challenges to the classic “roll a ball” genre, in a colorful, fun and pleasant experience, where you must capture the yellow cubes and find the way out, in beautiful 3D mazes. Use your creativity and logical thinking to overcome obstacles or use them to your advantage. Be quick and put your name on the top of the global leaderboards!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
