DEADCRAFT brings something new to the survival genre. It’s a bit too slow, but fun nonetheless, and if you are tired of regular survival games, this is different enough to offer a change of pace. 

If you are in the market for a side scrolling slash-em-up/platform-survival game, you could do a lot worse than take in these Lost Ruins. 

Souldiers is big, the bosses that you meet need serious planning, and there is a good challenge and learning curve.

Brave - The Video Game is not tough, it’s not a graphical tour de force, but what it is is a charming game with a good bit of playability built in. It's not too long either, nor too hard - it is very much a Goldilocks game; just right. 

So, here we at last, the final week of the German Automotive Excellence Season in Forza Horizon 5, otherwise known as Series 8 - Spring.

Welcome to Mexico, and welcome to Winter! Instead of snow and Mariah Carey, over there in the winter it is the dry season, and so we are all set for our weekly dose of motoring shenanigans with Forza Horizon 5 and the Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges - this time for Series 8 Winter.

Spacewing War is a fun trip down memory lane, especially for those of us old enough to remember these games from the first time around.

Time and tide wait for no man, as the saying goes, and so it proves to be in Mexico and the world of Forza Horizon 5. The Series 8 clock has rolled around to Autumn, the Storm Season, and with it have come a whole heap of new challenges to get our teeth into.

Sniper Elite 5 is a triumph. The campaign is great, Survival is brilliant fun and Axis Invasion gives an insight into how other players think. PvP sits in the mix like a wasp’s nest at a picnic, generally being unpleasant and spoiling things, but ignore that and this is a quality title that demands to be played.

Swords & Bones has some good ideas, but the execution needs some work and maybe a touch of polish. 

It’s hard to believe that we’re kicking off Series 8 of the Forza Horizon 5 Festival Playlist and the Weekly Challenges which that brings. But that’s the case and once again a whole host of rewards and new cars are on offer.

Metal Tales: Overkill makes a decent fist of being a good game. The various layouts and bosses you face, along with the decent amount of items and weapons to find, makes each run unique. Add in a decent co-op mode and this is a game that can be recommended to metalheads everywhere.

A new season is always an exciting time in any game, and especially so with Destiny 2. The latest - Season of the Haunted - is now available and promises to bring new content to the game.

What unfolded was almost a Japanese take on a Western RPG, and the stated inspiration for Dragon’s Dogma were games like Fallout 3 and Oblivion, and even Fable II.
