Cosmetic alterations play a big part in the life of any Dead or Alive 6 player and today, hot on the heels of the Happy Wedding celebrations comes the first part of a new clothing range – the Pirates of the 7 Seas.

Available to purchase and download right now, adding in a ton of new costumes to Dead or Alive 6 is Volume 1 of the Pirates of the 7 Seas collection, delivering the pirate life to all.

Anyone familiar with how Dead or Alive 6 works – or DOA5 for that matter – will know that KOEI TECMO aren’t shy in pushing out new content packs on a fairly regular basis. And that is what is happening again here today with the first part of the Pirates theme range. This sees no less than 13 new costumes becoming available for some of the most feared fighters in the game, with ÂŁ1.59 individual prices attached to the gear for the following:

  • Hayate
  • Nyotengu
  • Ayane
  • Bass
  • Mila
  • Hitomi
  • Diego
  • Zack
  • Rig
  • Honoka
  • Christie
  • La Mariposa
  • Tina

Further to that, those wishing to see these new gear sets in place for all the characters can do so by purchasing the DOA6 Pirates of the 7 Seas Costumes Vol. 1 Set for a cool ÂŁ15.99. Just be aware that there will be the second volume of these rolling around very soon so that price will be doubled if you wish to embrace everything that the pirate life can give.

Of course, the best way to really involve yourself in the multitude of DLC packs that will be hitting Dead or Alive 6 is to purchase the Season Pass 1. This comes in at a hefty ÂŁ59.99 but it will see access to all of the latest gear for all of the characters. If you’re serious about your time with DOA6 then that is an essential purchase.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
