We’ve known for a little while that the Virtual Air Guitar Company would be bringing Boom Ball 2 for Kinect to Xbox One…well now we’ve got a fully confirmed release date!
Available as a digital download, Boom Ball 2 for Kinect will arrive on December 21st 2016. It’ll be priced at $9.99 / €9.99 / ÂŁ7.99, coming with a local co-op mode, giving two players the chance to stand as one in front of Kinect, attempting to clear the 50 levels that Boom Ball 2 brings.
If you don’t have a friend to hand, then you’ll be pleased to hear that a solo player will be able to run through things alone, pinging balls around via the magic of Kinect. With five locations to check out, new cubes big bonuses and the chance to check out some properly manic multiball mayhem for all the family, we can’t wait to check it out.
“With two players, your goal is the same, but you have an extra pair of hands. Very useful when there’s a dozen balls flying around,” says Aki Kanerva, Founder and Lead Designer at Virtual Air Guitar Company
“Boom Ball 2’s merry havoc makes it a great game to play with the family on Christmas holidays,” continues Kanerva. “It’s easy to learn and gets everyone up and moving.”
If there is one developer who has fully embraced the power of Kinect for Xbox One, then it is the Virtual Air Guitar Company and chances are they’ll be bringing us something pretty damn hot on Dec 21st. Just check out our review of the original Boom Ball for Kinect on Xbox One and you’ll see what we mean.
We will of course remind you when that time comes.
