Those interested in the dangerous playfields of Mutant Football League may be able to get up close and personal with it next month!
Reborn as a spiritual successor to the old Sega Genesis game Mutant League Football, Mutant Football League is a seven versus seven arcade style, 3D sports game for up to four players. Players can take to the field as some of the most bloodthirsty creatures such as Aliens, Demons and Trolls, in what should be a brutal and hilarious American football parody. It’s just been announced that the commentary is set to be provided by the legendary NBA Jam voice artist Tim Kitzrow and there’s only one word to describe this addition – Boomshakalaka!
Following a Kickstarter which smashed the initial crowdfunding goal in just a few days, Digital Dreams Entertainment are taking MFL to GDC 2017 to go on exhibition at GDC Play Booth #PL4228 in San Francisco’s Moscone Convention Center from March 1st-3rd. So anyone attending the event should head over to have a gander.
The developers are aiming to finish MFL for an October, 2017 release on PC/Steam, with plans to launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2018.
