For those of you that have been ripping up the streets of Bricklandia since LEGO 2K Drive released in May, today is a very important day. Season 1 is here, and with it comes the game’s first Drive Pass – 100 tiers of unlockable goodness coming your way!
Tons of Cosmetics
As is the case with most Battle Passes and their equivalents in games nowadays, LEGO 2K Drive’s Season 1 Drive Pass comes packed with a variety of different cosmetics that you can plug onto your driver and vehicles. Read on for what you can unlock within the Premium Drive Pass, as there is a toned-down Free Drive Pass running concurrently.
First and foremost, within the Drive Pass you can unlock ten new vehicles, most notably those inspired by the Fast and Furious franchise. The iconic 1970 Dodge Charger R/T and Nissan Skyline GT-R can be yours in all their blocky goodness to take into races.
Secondly, for those wanting to collect more driver skins, the Fast Crew are here. This gang of four minifigures include pro racing sisters Rita and Lita Malachi, their techie Ronnie and pilot Doug.
Finally, of course the Premium Drive Pass brings with it tons of stickers, flairs, item packs and much more for you to use in LEGO 2K Drive’s intricate Garage, in which you can build and customise your own automobile creations, before taking to the track and open world.
Free and Premium Passes
LEGO 2K Drive’s Season 1 passes can be split into the Free and Premium branches. The Free version contains some cosmetics, however the most exciting items can be unlocked if you pay for the Premium Pass. Like Halo Infinite’s approach to a Battle Pass, you can purchase the Pass once, and you have all the time in the world to work through it – there is no time limit. Also, if you decide to buy the Premium Pass at a point during the Season, all items you would have reached at that point are instantly unlocked.
Finally, if you own a version of LEGO 2K Drive that contains the Year 1 Drive Pass – that’s the Awesome Edition and Awesome Rivals Edition – then you will get the Premium Drive Pass for free!
