Nearly five years since it was originally slated for release onto console, today is finally the day that Spooky Squid Games ship their next title to the home market. Are you ready to take on the Russian aristocracy as a lovable canine in Russian Subway Dogs on Xbox and PlayStation?
Explore the Moscow Metro
In Russian Subway Dogs on Xbox and PlayStation – following a 2018 PC debut – you will play as a Russian dog within the intricate Moscow metro system. Anyone who has been scrolling YouTube at 2am may know that the real-life dogs of Moscow are experts at using this system to get around the city, and Russian Subway Dogs simply adds a thieving streak to the pooches.
That’s right, all you have to do in this game is to tackle pedestrians in order to steal their cash, food and vodka. The latter can also be juggled in the air and sent flying into groups of people, resulting in an explosion of money and chaos.
In both the arcade mode and expansive campaign, you’ll also encounter enemy humans, pigeons and even bears that you must take care of. It’s a good thing, then, that you can also make use of different power-ups, such as fire-breathing chillis.
