Prove yourself as a Slime Ranger on Xbox

With a limited moveset and even further restrictions on attack, your job as a Slime Ranger on Xbox may initially seem to be a bit of a losing battle. But those slimes need defeating one way or another…

Available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S is the cutesy little Slime Ranger. Now, don’t get this confused with the rather brilliant Slime Rancher or Slime Rancher 2 – this is a completely different beast to those titles.

Can you defeat the Slime King in Slime Ranger on Xbox?

Coming from Cozy Village and Old School Vibes, two teams in which the feeling of Slime Ranger are well summed up, this one places you in the ickle shoes of the Slime Ranger. It’s your job to defeat the Slime King, pushing boxes, hunting down keys and slaying all the slimes in the process.

Playing out across multiple single screen levels, you’ll be left to delicately move your way to safety and success. The thing is, in Slime Ranger there are multiple traps and obstacles that will get in your way. How you overcome them will be the key.

Don’t expect Slime Ranger on Xbox to prove too much of a test of your gaming skills. We’d suspect that this one is one of those games perfect for a mere evening or two of gaming. The price reflects that though – £4.19.

Grab a download

A download of Slime Ranger can be gathered up from the Xbox Store. From there, play on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S. Your call. There’s a Windows version available too.

Let us know your thoughts should you spend time with this little puzzler. We’ll do the same in review.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
