If there’s a complaint, it’s that Pearl doesn’t quite have the ability to surprise that X and other Ti West films have. It’s more complete, and a richer, more rounded movie experience, but it also doesn’t scare or pull the rug from beneath that experience.
There's no doubt that Killer Frequency may come with a bit too much dialogue for some, and occasionally some bits do drag, but ultimately there is a great story found within; one that explores the twilight zone of late-night radio.Â
Missing is just as much of a rollercoaster as Searching, but the twists and loop-the-loops are faster, in vastly different places, and the result is an equal shot of adrenaline.
Railbound is described as a ‘comfy track-bending puzzle game’ featuring a pair of dogs. It sounds promising and there’s certainly potential for a chilled brain workout to be had here.
