Argonauts Agency 6: Missing Daughter Review

Argonauts Agency 6: Missing Daughter - an impossible challenge for any level designer.

Grandia HD Collection Review

Grandia HD Collection may not appeal to everyone, but those drawn to it will find this to be a great package.

Aery – Cyber City Review

In pure gameplay terms, we think Aery - Cyber City might be the least enjoyable of all Aery games.

Lunar Axe Review

If you like puzzle games and are looking for a cheap option, Lunar Axe is probably worth a piece of your time.

Bakery Simulator Review

Bakery Simulator is the bread bun of the baking world - bland and uninteresting, but some people might still like it.

The Sinking City Review

With the arrival of The Sinking City once again I am flung into an epic tale of other worlds, murky water and the cusp of madness. Will it enlighten me? Or fling me down to a watery grave?

F1 2019 Review

If you are a fan of the sport, are looking for a new online racer, wish to involve yourself in a lengthy career or just prefer to smash out a quick time trial or two, Codemasters’ F1 2019 delivers on all fronts.

Supermarket Shriek Review

Supermarket Shriek is as absurd as it is fun, and that’s saying a lot for a game about a goat and a grown man going shopping in a kart.

Neon Junctions Review

While Neon Junctions is relatively short and is a bit on the easy side at first, for the price that it retails at and the great soundtrack included, I feel this game is perfect for anyone looking to get into the puzzle game genre.

War Tech Fighters Review

Playing War Tech Fighters feels like a combination of Transformers, Pacific Rim, wildly over-the-top Japanese anime such as Neon Genesis Evangelion with all the usual Hollywood production and explosions

TOKI Juju Densetsu Review

From a gameplay standpoint Toki provides an authentic and untainted experience, but the new visuals leave a lot to be desired.

Irony Curtain Review

Now Artifex have decided to take on the classic point and click genre in the form of the newest release, Irony Curtain; a game that looks to provide a satirical view of a communist country during the Cold War era. But does this Eastern Bloc inspired tale have enough humour and ingenious puzzles to ensure there’s enjoyment to be had in a world that’s rather gloomy by its very nature? We’ll have to venture to the glorious land of Matryoshka to find out!

Golem Gates Review

War can do many things. It can bring nations together, it can tear them apart, it change future intentions for better or worse, and it can devastate lives. On occasions though it can prove the final saviour. In the moment however, war is a terrible thing for all those involved, and in the world of Golem Gates, war is no stranger, completely ravaging the land and turning the world into a dark and dangerous place.

Forza Horizon 4 LEGO Speed Champions Review

Forza Horizon 4 has been one of the most successful entries into Playground Games' franchise, and it’s a game that I have enjoyed playing for many, many hours. The reveal of the new LEGO based DLC at E3 2019 by Microsoft certainly made me sit up and take notice, with the promise of Forza Horizons go anywhere playstyle mixed with the joyous plastic bricked up nature of LEGO. In fact, the trailer was enough for me to immediately put my interest gathering hand up when it came to checking out this DLC, and, at the risk of spoiling things, boy was I glad I did.

Warlock’s Tower Review

Recently, Ratalaika Games have made a bit of a name for themselves by porting over semi-decent games, but then loading the first hour or two of them with all the achievements. For achievement hunters on Xbox One, this is great news, but I reckon a large percentage will never touch the game after the last achievement pops.

Verlet Swing Review

Originality in games is naturally harder and harder to come by nowadays as our beloved industry goes from strength to strength. But there are some that immediately grab your attention because they have an original idea at their core. Verlet Swing is one such game. Prepare to enter a curiously weird game world where your only chance of escape is to swing to safety like a demented Spiderman trapped in an '80s bootleg video game.

Steel Rats Review

When Steel Rats was originally announced back in 2017, I was pretty pumped to see whether this adrenaline-fuelled motorbike-centric action game could deliver on all of its aims. Developers and publishers, Tate Multimedia, wanted to create an experience that called out to those who like to brawl, pull off awesome stunts and just generally race. Despite missing the initial release date, Steel Rats is now finally here on Xbox One to try and entertain the masses, but does it succeed in everything it set out to do?

DayZ Review

You know that feeling when you can't wait to play something you've been so excited about, but you fast discover that it should have been left alone? I've just had that with DayZ on Xbox One.

Contra Anniversary Collection Review

Contra Anniversary Collection for now marks the trifecta of the anniversary trilogy unless Konami (hopefully) announces more. As welcome and enjoyable as Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection and Castlevania Anniversary Collection were, this is unquestionably the best of the three.

Doughlings: Invasion Review

Now it’s time for Hero Concept to pay tribute to yet another classic genre, and Doughlings: Invasion looks to build on the success of that which has gone before it to run down a Space Invaders route. But does it bring a fun gaming experience to players of all ages like it promises?
